Donations Needed!
During the holiday season, the Unforgotten Haven helps the less fortunate in a variety of ways. For 2019, we are collecting the following items. They can be dropped off any time during our open hours (listed on the bottom of the website).
- Frozen Turkeys and Sides - distributed to needy families
- Fleece Blankets (Twin Size) and Non-Skid Socks - distributed to local nursing homes
- Brand-New Unwrapped Toys - distributed to needy children via our partner, Jersey Life Church
- Plastic Bags - used by our Homeless Outreach Initiative
- Hand Warmers and Men's Coats - distributed via our Homeless Outreach Initiative
- Food for Our Pantry - see this flyer for a neat way to incorporate giving into your Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving Hoagies for the Homeless
We're collecting funds to purchase hoagies to be distributed on Thanksgiving by our Homeless Outreach Initiative! We'll purchase 400 hoagies, which will be cut in half to fill 800 hungry bellies. Thanks to Roma Pizza in Berlin, NJ for working with us on this project.
